Free Consultant's Services Customers get friendly advice on how to maximize performance by choosing the most adequate instrument or equipment. Procedures, Calibration, Certification, Repairs and General Maintenance The client receives a written notification 15 days prior to certification's renewal date. Emergency Services For companies with a service contract, services will be rendered within 24 hours. Those with no contract will be served as soon as possible. Training We train our customer's personnel in the correct usage of most of the equipment we represent. Laboratory on premises All repairs and calibrations are carried out either on the field or in our laboratory. Our services are available outside of Puerto Rico. Metrology and Test Equipment Service Center We offer a complete range of services for test equipment calibration and bench repairs. Our Metrology Department offers NIST traceable calibration. This service assigns a specific control number to the Calibration Certificate. Expert Calibration Accomplished by experienced NIST trained personnel in compliance with ASTM and NIST procedures and requirements ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994. Calibration Procedures Tomas Cuerda, Inc. utilizes specific calibration procedures for all instrument calibration. Available history of change for all procedures.

Your Calibration Data - Online

We are in the process of allowing those customers with contracts to access their accounts through the Internet.

Among the advantages of using our Service Department support system, customers will benefit from the following services:

• We maintain a record of approved transfer standards assigned to the Instrument Calibration Program traceable to the US National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST).
• We prepare and maintain a detailed written calibration procedure for each TI (Test Instrument) included in the instrument calibration program.
• We specify the appropriate use of labels and decals.
• We maintain a calibration record for each company TI which includes equipment description and calibration data.
• We establish a computer system to schedule, record and issue a certificate for calibration purposes.
• We train our personnel for performing calibrations done by the Instrument Calibration Program in compliance with our Quality Assurance Manual.
• We provide calibration services determined by our recommendations for calibration frequency or intervals, to all customers.
• We keep computerized calibration and maintenance records for all equipment. Copies of these records will be available for three years.
