EPA Awards $1 Million in Recovery Act Funds to Clean Up Underground Petroleum Leaks in Puerto Rico
Environmental 11 Comments »In an effort to create jobs, boost local economies and protect human health and the environment, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $1,030,000 to Puerto Rico to assess and clean up underground petroleum storage tank leaks. The cooperative agreement between EPA and the Puerto Rico Environmental Quality Board includes a detailed description of Puerto Rico’s spending plans.
